HEY !
I’m Ella Dangremont, a textile artist and painter.
My work comes to life between the ocean and the mountains, in the southwest of France.

Graduated from the French fashion school Atelier Chardon Savard in Paris, I worked for several years as a full-time textile designer for fashion and home decor brands.
Today, I collaborate with brands as a freelancer, helping develop their collections through the creation of prints, color ranges, and illustrations.

My work is strongly inspired by nature, particularly flowers.
I’m fascinated by the pops and shades of color they offer. While a classic sharp pencil remains my favorite medium, I constantly explore ways to translate this vivid, organic world into other forms—especially through my rugs. Each rug is a unique, hand-crafted piece that I personally sign and number, bringing my colorful and expressive universe into tactile, functional art.

In addition to textile design and illustration, I also create original paintings. My combined expertise in color, composition, and surface design gives life to bold, expressive and vibrant creations across various mediums—whether for fashion, interiors, or contemporary art.

Commited to LA TRAME and PARIS PRINT DAYS

Passionate about patterns and textile design history, I’m proud to be associated with 6 other designers to create LA TRAME in 2018.

La Trame is the French Federation of Textile and Surface Design.
Its aim is to bring designers closer to each other, to help them, and also promoting the know-how as french textile and surface design all around the world.

We organised a professional trade show, PARIS PRINT DAYS, dedicated to patterns.
